CLEMENT BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY

Cemetery is located at Clement Baptist Church in the Clement Community, Sampson County, N. C. It is approximately 20 miles south of Dunn, 20 miles east of Fayetteville, 20 miles west of Clinton and 6 miles north of Autryville. It is being maintained by Clement Baptist Church and is in good condition. On April 21, 1888, Lee Roy Baptist Church was established on property given by Captain James Lindsey Autry. The church was named in memory of Captain Autry's deceased daughter, Libby Lee Roy Autry. Lee Roy Baptist was renamed Clement Missionary Baptist on September 22, 1888.
